Project Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Denver, CO
Salary Range: $90k-110k annually
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform stability, settlement, and seepage analyses for solid waste disposal facilities.
- Establish and coordinate field and laboratory investigations to characterize solid waste disposal facilities.
- Perform civil engineering design of solid waste disposal facilities, including surface water design, leachate collection and pumping systems, and grading.
- Respond to client questions and needs.
- Oversee and prepare technical reports.
- Prepare proposals.
- Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, colleagues, and managers.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil or Geological Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MS Word, and Excel.
- EIT or P.E. registration.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including proposal writing and reporting.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly and willingness to take on diverse challenges.
- US Citizen or authorization to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel out of town.
