Architect
Role Overview:
- Apply advanced design concepts across various projects.
- Manage and guide our client's architectural design teams.
- Investigate, evaluate, and recommend technical design solutions.
- Report to a Project Manager or Principal.
- Work independently on complex small to moderate-size projects.
Qualifications:
- Professional degree in architecture with 6+ years of experience.
- Professional licensure in New York.
- K-12 experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and other 3D tools.
- Knowledge of codes, standards, and project planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills for client and team communication.
- Understanding of construction methods and sustainable design.
- LEED and WELL accreditation are a plus.
Core Duties:
- Coordinate architectural work and manage team tasks.
- Participate in client meetings throughout design and construction phases.
- Conduct design and contract document sessions.
- Write and edit architectural specifications.
- Ensure design quality control with Project Managers.
- Research design codes and regulations.
- Submit documents for AHJ approval, bidding, and construction.
- Engage in construction administration tasks.
- Promote our client's brand regionally.
