Our client, a leading investment firm, is seeking a Renewable Energy Project Finance and M&A Senior Analyst to join their solar development company. As a Renewable Energy Project Finance and M&A Senior Analyst, you will be a key player in conducting financial analysis, evaluating potential M&A opportunities, and providing strategic insights to support our company's expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Modeling: Create and maintain project finance models to evaluate the financial feasibility and potential return on investment of solar projects.
* Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and risks that could impact financial model and strategies.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and recommendations to management, guiding them in making informed decisions.
* Risk Assessment: Analyze potential risks and rewards associated with transactions, ensuring that they align with the company's strategic goals and financial objectives.
* M&A Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential M&A targets
* Valuation: Determine the valuation of potential targets and assist in negotiating
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
* 2-3 years of experience in project finance modelling, M&A, or corporate finance, with a strong understanding of renewable energy and solar development.
* Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, project finance principles and market research.
* Knowledge of energy sector regulations and industry trends is a plus.
Comp: $100,000-125,000 + bonus
