Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (required).
- Advanced degree (preferred).
Experience:
- 8+ years in power plant construction, operation, or maintenance, specializing in electrical and I&C systems.
- Expertise in Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
Knowledge:
- NERC standards familiarity is a plus.
- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license or advanced degree may replace 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and solutions for equipment and system issues.
- Create and review designs, calculations, and specifications.
- Develop cost estimates and evaluate bids.
- Collaborate with teams on plant improvements and urgent issues.
- Troubleshoot failures in control systems and recommend improvements.
- Monitor assigned systems for safety and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and NERC standards.
- Assist during outages and emergencies, including working off-hours as needed.
- Supervise consultants and assist with DCS troubleshooting.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb and access all plant areas.
- Compliance with PPE and safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license.
