Our client is considered the gold standard for mechanical construction within the region - with a strong reputation and 85% repeat business, our client needs a PX with strong interpersonal skills to help support that reputation as a top tier contractor.
Key requirements
- 20+ years experience working with mechanical contractors, preferably with 8+ years at one company
- Thorough knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and process piping - a huge plus if you started out as a pipefitter or steamfitter!
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain and develop tight professional relationships
- Experience working on mechanical projects worth more than $20-25 million an absolute must
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations
Key responsibilities
- Oversee a suite of government and healthcare mechanical projects and see them through to completion
- Engage in a client-facing role, maintaining strong relationships with the companies our client has retained for decades
- Handle change orders and hiring needs
- Pursue and win contracts
