Job Title: Project Development Executive
Location: Washington DC- Baltimore area
The Project Development Executive will join LVI's project development team, which is responsible for assessing, analyzing, designing, and communicating technical solutions for complex energy and operations problems. This leadership position requires a dynamic, motivated individual with an acute passion for developing sustainable energy solutions and seeing them through the design, implementation, and performance periods. We seek high-potential individuals who can learn quickly and grow with the organization, assuming responsibility as the organization expands over the next several years.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of internal engineering and development team members to develop impactful and readily implementable projects.
- Lead and Support proposal development teams to respond to project RFPS.
- Manage development schedule, budget, and subcontractors/consultants.
- Build and manage senior-level client relationships.
- Manage technical, financial, and contractual aspects of projects at a detailed level.
- Identify, develop, and propose technical solutions.
- Oversee and review engineering calculations and designs.
- Prepare project implementation cost estimates through detailed vendor bid processes and internal cost buildups.
- Develop project financial models and help structure financing to meet client goals.
- Structure, negotiate, and close customer agreements.
- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent discipline; master's degree in business or engineering preferred.
- Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible business management experience with emphasis in major project development for energy conservation in MUSH, C&I or federal government markets, project finance, utility regulation, construction.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high performing, multi-disciplinary teams.
- ESCO experienced preferred
