Position Overview: We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Professional Land Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license and possess a strong understanding of land surveying principles, methods, and technologies. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage projects, communicate with clients, and ensure high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys, including boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
- Prepare accurate and detailed survey reports, maps, and legal descriptions.
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software to collect and analyze data.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to address project requirements and challenges.
- Supervise and mentor junior surveyors and field staff.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Minnesota.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in land surveying.
- Proficiency with modern surveying tools, technology, and software (e.g., GPS, GIS, AutoCAD).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
