LVI Associates is currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Principal Pre-Construction Manager to lead a dynamic team within the telecoms sector. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of top-tier pre-construction services for telecom infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership and mentorship to the team, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and adhere to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of pre-construction professionals, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of services for telecom projects.
- Provide strategic direction, technical leadership, and mentoring to the pre-construction team, ensuring they possess the skills and knowledge necessary for success.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including managing and negotiating contracts, proposals, and project scopes.
- Oversee site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses for various telecom infrastructure projects, including tower installations, fiber optic networks, and 5G deployment.
- Utilize specialized software and tools to plan, budget, and schedule pre-construction activities.
- Prepare detailed project documentation, including technical reports, cost estimates, and timelines.
- Provide technical support to project managers, engineers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Attend project meetings, offering expert input and guidance to team members and clients.
- Collaborate with the broader project team to develop and deliver exceptional telecom solutions that align with client objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in telecom pre-construction, project management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure development and pre-construction processes.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools specific to telecoms.
