Our client, a top provider of low voltage technology solutions, is looking for a highly talented Low Voltage Technology Designer to join their team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of designing and delivering innovative solutions across various low voltage projects, including structured cabling, audio-visual systems, security systems, and telecommunications. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, ensuring all designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design low voltage systems such as structured cabling, AV, security, and telecommunications tailored to client specifications.
- Develop detailed project drawings, layouts, and technical specifications for installation teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure the successful execution of designs on time and within budget.
- Perform site assessments and coordinate with installation teams to confirm design feasibility.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry regulations, standards, and client requirements.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including technical drawings and installation instructions.
- Provide technical support and design modifications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in low voltage systems design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in low voltage systems design.
- Expertise in structured cabling, audio-visual systems, security systems, and telecommunications.
- Proficient in design software and tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA, with no remote option.
