My client is seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead with a proven track record in water and wastewater projects to take charge of designing, managing, and delivering industrial-scale projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of electrical engineering designs for various industrial projects, including water/wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and manufacturing plants.
- Design electrical power distribution, lighting systems, and low/medium voltage switchgear for industrial, institutional, and commercial facilities.
- Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, protective coordination, and arc flash analysis.
- Conduct field investigations and provide detailed electrical system reports.
- Oversee construction administration, including shop drawing and RFI review, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Create detailed cost estimates and proposals for large-scale engineering projects.
- Effectively manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with budgetary constraints.
- Travel to project sites as required to provide technical oversight and field support.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years focused on water/wastewater projects.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Strong project management and client management experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results.
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards (NEC, NESC, IEEE, and relevant local building codes).
- Experience in construction administration, including on-site observation, cost estimating, and proposal writing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface with clients and team members professionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and ArcFlash studies software.
- Experience coordinating with control systems engineers.
- Strong knowledge of electrical system design and hands-on experience creating and reading blueprints.
