Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in all survey tasks under the guidance of leadership, tailored to the unique requirements of each project.
- Collaborate with management to prepare proposals, assessing the surveying effort needed for upcoming jobs.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Communicate and track utility marking needs with relevant parties impacted by projects.
- Conduct site visits and data collection to facilitate effective design processes.
- Perform surveying tasks that support both design and construction phases.
- Prepare additional project documents, such as field reports and existing condition assessments.
- Ensure quality control for all assigned work and conduct backchecks of colleagues' work.
- Stamp and seal survey drawings as needed.
- Engage professionally with team members, clients, and other stakeholders during project meetings.
- Participate actively in a culture of mentorship and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
- 5+ years of experience in land surveying, with expertise in various surveying techniques and practices.
- Proficient with common surveying equipment, including GPS and Total Station Systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong decision-making skills, adaptability, and a commitment to quality and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
