Position Summary: The Head of Commercial will lead and oversee the commercial strategy and operations for the offshore wind OEM business in Taiwan. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in offshore wind, who can drive growth, forge strategic partnerships, and optimize revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the commercial strategy aligned with the company's vision and objectives, focusing on market expansion and revenue generation.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and innovation.
Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the offshore wind sector.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government entities, to enhance business opportunities and drive customer satisfaction.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances that align with company goals.
Contract Negotiation: Oversee contract negotiations and ensure favorable terms that mitigate risks and maximize profitability.
Financial Management: Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance tracking for commercial activities.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities comply with local and international regulations, as well as industry standards.
Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience in a commercial role within the renewable energy sector, specifically offshore wind.
Strong understanding of the offshore wind market in Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific region.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively across various functions and with diverse stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
