We are partnered with a consulting firm specializing in forensic accounting, litigation support, fraud investigation, bankruptcy/reorganization, and management support services. Our client is known for delivering high-quality advisory services, including expert witness testimony, complex fraud investigations, corporate controls assessments, and financial oversight for clients navigating mergers, acquisitions, and bankruptcy processes.
We are currently seeking a Forensic Accountant with at least 7 years of experience to contribute to our client's growing practice. In this role, you will oversee client engagements, manage team members, and work closely with our clients' staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, and completing projects within budget.
- Provide expert advisory services in areas such as forensic accounting, data analysis, litigation consulting, bankruptcy, fraud investigation, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Prepare formal written reports and deliver clear communication to clients.
- Supervise and mentor team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting/finance, with leadership experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Vlookups, SumIfs) and Microsoft Word.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel to meet clients and assist in investigations.
- Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding client service abilities and a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- CPA, CMA, CIRA, CFE, or CFF certification preferred (support for obtaining these certifications will be provided).
