Position Overview:
As an Environmental Scientist specializing in UST, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing projects related to underground storage tanks. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience, a solid understanding of UST regulations, and a proven ability to conduct assessments and remediation efforts effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site assessments and investigations related to UST installations and potential leaks.
- Develop and implement remediation plans for UST sites, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collect and analyze soil, groundwater, and vapor samples to evaluate environmental conditions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, including findings, recommendations, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to address UST-related issues and project requirements.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to health and safety standards during field activities.
- Stay current on industry regulations, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UST management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on UST management and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of UST regulations and remediation practices.
- Proficiency in environmental sampling techniques and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for fieldwork as needed.
