Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Environmental Professional to open a division/office with 12+ years of experience in the environmental sector, particularly in wetland science. The ideal candidate will have a strong network and a proven track record of business development. This role requires exceptional management skills to build and lead a new team while establishing our presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the establishment and growth of a new office focused on wetland science and environmental consulting.
- Develop and implement strategic business development initiatives to expand client base and services.
- Utilize existing relationships and a book of business to drive immediate revenue growth.
- Manage and mentor a team of environmental professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Oversee project management, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and client expectations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in wetland science and environmental management.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a strong focus on wetland science.
- Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) certification preferred, but not required.
- Proven track record of business development and client relationship management.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
