As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer Team Leader to join our dynamic team and lead electrical engineering projects in the data centre sector.
Role Overview:
As the Electrical Engineer Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in delivering electrical engineering solutions for data centre projects. You will oversee design, installation, and commissioning activities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
-Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
-Allocate tasks and manage team performance to meet project time lines and quality standards.
-Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
Project Management:
-Oversee all electrical engineering aspects of data centre projects from concept design through to final handover.
-Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Technical Expertise:
-Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and health & safety protocols.
-Conduct risk assessments and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Client Engagement:
-Act as the primary point of contact for clients on electrical engineering matters.
-Present technical solutions to clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement:
-Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in the data centre and electrical engineering sectors.
-Drive initiatives to improve processes and adopt innovative solutions to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
Key Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
-Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering
-Data centre is advantageous comparable projects in chemical, pharmaceutical or automotive are accepted
-Native level proficiently is English and German
-Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
-Strong understanding of power distribution, electrical systems design, and mission-critical infrastructure.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
