We are working with a leading EPC company specializing in Utility Scale Solar and Wind projects looking for a Director of Precosntruction. The Director of Preconstruction will lead all preconstruction activities for solar and wind projects. This role involves project estimation, planning, design coordination, and procurement management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the preconstruction team.
- Prepare detailed project estimates and budgets.
- Develop preconstruction schedules and coordinate with project teams.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee procurement of materials and manage vendor relationships.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Report progress to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in preconstruction or construction management, preferably in renewable energy.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in project management software.
