Deputy Project Manager
Responsibilities:
-Design or oversee roadway and construction plans for transportation projects.
-Coordinate with engineering teams, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies.
-Train junior staff in design principles and CADD software.
-Prepare specific scopes of work, budgets, and schedules.
-Deliver quality assignments on time and within budget.
-Assist in project management plans and progress reports.
-Participate in client meetings and presentations.
-Review quality of submittals and deliverables.
-Help with production tasks (CADD drawings, reports, etc.).
Qualifications:
-Professional Engineer (PE) License; must be able to obtain reciprocity if needed.
-8+ years of experience in roadway, highway, and traffic control planning.
-Knowledge of state, local, and federal design standards.
-Proficient in MicroStation/OpenRoads or AutoCAD/Civil 3D; proficiency in both is a plus.
