Position Overview
As a Project Manager on our construction team, you'll lead various tasks for energy transformation projects, overseeing both long-term planning and day-to-day site operations. You will manage an on-site team, ensuring all aspects of the project are executed safely, on schedule, and in line with contract requirements. We seek a highly motivated individual who shares our passion for sustainable energy solutions and who can grow with us as we expand into new projects and regions.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Associate Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractor personnel on-site.
- Oversee the execution of comprehensive Energy Conservation Measures.
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with LVI and site-specific safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and clear communication.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, oversee bid processes, and negotiate subcontractor agreements.
- Manage budgets, review expenditures, and approve subcontractor draw requests.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project life cycle.
- Oversee on-site safety and quality control programs.
- Drive technical due diligence, monitoring risks (technical, financial, environmental, etc.) throughout implementation.
- Implement measurement-based monitoring, verification plans, commissioning protocols, and post-implementation maintenance.
- Support business development and project responsibilities from the planning through implementation phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent with 15+ years of experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in construction project management or project engineering focused on building construction and energy systems (HVAC, controls, central utilities, electrical, and mechanical systems).
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.

- Proven experience in project and team leadership, with a focus on energy systems.
- Ability to work irregular hours as needed during project implementation.
- Skilled in overseeing superintendents and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of safety and quality control standards and experience in project commissioning and controls.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to high-quality project execution.
- OSHA-30 certification preferred.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% or relocate as required for project needs.
Location and Flexibility
Our primary client is located in the Denver, CO area, with remote work options as project demands allow. Future projects may require travel or relocation to other areas, including Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, West Virginia, Memphis, TN, and Austin, TX.
