One of Southern California's top private land development civil firms is seeking a senior engineer with experience in residential, retail/office, hospitality, mixed-us, k-12 education, public spaces. The firm has leveraged their survey team to provide a range of services to clients over the past 40 years. They've maintained strong numbers throughout the years by providing each of their engineers design support and gradual exposure to client-facing responsibilities with guidance from veteran business developers in San Diego land development.
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the coordination of site design, including roadway design, grading, and drainage systems.
- Developing and implementing stormwater pollution prevention plans.
- Conducting planning and feasibility studies, and preparing geometric design schematics.
- Creating construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates for development projects.
- Leading and mentoring junior engineers and design teams.
The Civil Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- PE License in California (or intent to receive within 6 months).
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
