Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Envelope Consultant with a strong background in roofing and waterproofing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of building envelope systems and a proven track record of providing expert consultation on roofing and waterproofing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of building envelope systems, with a focus on roofing and waterproofing.
- Develop and implement effective solutions for building envelope issues, ensuring long-term performance and durability.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on site inspections and assessments.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from design to construction and maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and best practices related to building envelope systems.
- Participate in project meetings and provide expert input on building envelope-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building envelope consulting, with a focus on roofing and waterproofing.
- Strong knowledge of building envelope systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Professional certifications such as RCI, Inc. (now IIBEC) Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) or Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC) are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for building envelope analysis and design.
