Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct building envelope assessments, including roofs, faรงades, waterproofing, and insulation systems.
- Develop and review designs for building envelope systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and building codes.
- Perform forensic investigations to identify and address issues such as water intrusion, material failures, and thermal inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the design and construction phases.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, project specifications, and provide recommendations for repairs or improvements.
- Conduct site inspections during construction and post-construction phases to ensure proper installation and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in building envelope consulting, design, or forensic investigations.
- Strong knowledge of building envelope systems, materials, and construction techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, AAMA, IBC).
