Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with clients, event planners, and vendors to understand event requirements and objectives.
- Develop production schedules, timelines, and budgets in coordination with stakeholders.
- Arrange and oversee site visits, rehearsals, and technical inspections to ensure venue readiness.
Technical Production:
- Oversee all technical aspects of live event production, including audio, lighting, video, and staging.
- Coordinate with technical staff and vendors to ensure equipment availability, setup, and operation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure uninterrupted event flow.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of production crew members, including technicians, stagehands, and runners.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring each team member understands their role and duties.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
Logistics and Resource Management:
- Coordinate logistics for equipment transportation, setup, and breakdown, both on-site and off-site.
- Manage inventory and procurement of production supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effectiveness.
- Optimize resource allocation and utilization to meet project requirements within budget constraints.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for live event production.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure the well-being of staff and attendees.
- Conduct safety briefings and emergency preparedness drills for production team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in live event production.
- In-depth knowledge of audio, lighting, video, and staging equipment and technologies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost estimation, and resource management.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Theater Production, Technical Theater, or a related field (preferred).
