Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in film and television production, with expertise in managing all aspects of production operations. Reporting to the Executive Producer, the Production Manager will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of projects from pre-production through post-production.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Executive Producer and other key stakeholders to develop production plans, budgets, and schedules for film and television projects.
- Oversee all logistical aspects of production, including crew hiring, equipment rentals, location scouting, and transportation arrangements.
- Manage production budgets and track expenses to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate with department heads, including directors, cinematographers, and production designers, to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and talent agencies to secure necessary resources for production.
- Supervise production crews and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of creative vision and production goals.
- Monitor production progress, identify potential issues or challenges, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with post-production teams to facilitate the transition from production to post-production and ensure timely delivery of final deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Broadcasting, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Production Manager in the film and television industry, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for on-location shoots.
