Our client, an engineering firm located in Macon GA is seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical leadership on automation projects across various industries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working with Industrial Automation systems
- Proficient knowledge of Control Systems & Programming (PLC/SCADA/HMI)
Skills:
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written, strong problem-solving abilities, ability to work independently under minimal supervision but also within team environments.
Responsibilities:
As our new Sr. Automation Engineer you'll have responsibility for leading project teams from initial concept through design development phases culminating with commissioning at customer sites throughout Georgia USA region.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;
* Provide expert guidance during all stages - planning, designing testing etc.
* Manage multiple concurrent assignments while ensuring adherence to deadlines without compromising quality standards.
* Develop electrical schematics using AutoCAD software
* Perform PLC programming utilizing Rockwell RSLogix5000 Software platform
