Our client is a leading industrial automation firm that specializes in designing, developing and deploying advanced manufacturing systems. We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of Siemens PLCs including TIA Portal, Step7 & S7 programming languages
- Experience with HMI development using PCS7 software platform
- Proven skills working with robotics programming especially FANUC
Skills Required:
The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. They should also be self-motivated, detail-oriented individuals who thrive under pressure.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Designing automated systems for clients.
* Troubleshooting existing equipment/system issues.
* Developing technical documentation such as manuals.
* Collaborating closely with other engineers/teams within the organisation.
