A mid-sized and employee owned water resources group is growing across Florida, and are looking for a Water Resources project and technical managers to join its dynamic team. Looking for an experienced water resources professional to work with existing water resource group and support work in the areas of stormwater management and design, hydrology and hydraulics analysis, and resiliency efforts, among others. This person will help assist clients with developing strategic, cost-effective and forward thinking solutions to their water resource, ecological restoration and environmental projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary projects focusing on hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater design, or water quality, collaborating with both staff and clients.
- Preparing and evaluating stormwater management and natural system design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project goals and regulations.
- Generating technical reports, plans, and specifications to articulate project requirements and findings effectively.
- Crafting project proposals, scopes of work, and accurate fee estimates, facilitating successful project acquisition.
- Participating in meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ascertain project needs and address design and permitting challenges.
- Providing mentorship to junior staff, fostering their growth in both technical skills and professional conduct.
- Managing project tasks, ensuring their efficient execution and monitoring task financial performance to meet project objectives.
- Depending on the role, developing new and fostering existing client relationships

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- Minimum seven years of relevant experience
- PE required
- Advanced level of oral, presentation and written communication skills
- Experience working on parts of a major project or multiple moderate-sized projects
- Proven experience providing technical guidance to entry/junior level staff. This includes reviewing others' work for technical accuracy
- Experience with task management and people management/mentoring
- Experience with hydrologic/ hydraulic modeling and stormwater policy and permitting preferred
- EIT/PE licensure preferred
- Proficiency with relevant software including AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HydroCAD, StormCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel
