We are seeking a water resources manager to lead stormwater and drainage projects in the Texas and Louisiana area. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep expertise in hydrology and hydraulics and a passion for expanding water resources services. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-impact municipal projects, lead business development initiatives, and mentor a growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the expansion of water resources services and business development efforts in Texas.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models for municipal stormwater and sanitary collection systems.
- Prepare Drainage Studies and Stormwater Master Plans in compliance with local regulations.
- Design municipal stormwater infrastructure, including open channels, culverts, storm sewers, detention basins, and green infrastructure.
- Oversee permitting processes with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Prepare competitive proposals and participate in client interviews.
- Represent the firm at municipal meetings and industry events.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas or Louisiana
- 10+ years of experience in stormwater project design and management.
- Expertise in Houston-area hydrology and hydraulics and familiarity with local stormwater regulations.
- Strong background in consulting engineering, public works, or construction.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong verbal, written, organizational, and computer skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the Texas/Louisiana area as needed.
