Water/Wastewater Project Manager
Overview:
An established engineering firm is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful projects in water and wastewater systems while working with a team of skilled professionals dedicated to innovation and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of water and wastewater projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence.
- Oversee design, planning, and implementation for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, pipelines, and distribution systems.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns or project needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineers, planners, and contractors to deliver solutions that meet technical, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects stay on track.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and coordinate with senior management for project updates.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards throughout the lifecycle of each project.
- Coordinate and lead meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams to discuss progress, resolve issues, and promote project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in water/wastewater project management or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater systems, design, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to foster strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
