Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned engineering professional to drive the design and management of water infrastructure projects. This position involves creating innovative designs for water conveyance and treatment systems, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Design: Develop comprehensive designs for water transmission and distribution networks, including pumping facilities, conveyance pipelines, treatment units, and upgrades to existing systems.
- Project Leadership: Oversee project activities from design through construction, ensuring all tasks-from permitting to quality control-are executed efficiently. Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
- Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team and liaise with external stakeholders to drive project success and maintain high standards of communication.
- Quality Assurance: Prepare detailed work plans and review the output of peers to ensure a consistently high quality of deliverables.
- Budget and Schedule Management: Develop project strategies that adhere to financial and time constraints set by clients while effectively managing project progress and milestones.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Represent project interests in meetings with clients, government bodies, and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and requirements.

Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in engineering design within relevant fields.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months.
- Demonstrated experience in municipal engineering projects, including the design of pump stations, pipeline systems, and treatment facilities for water and wastewater.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and maintain a high standard of work.
