We are currently seeking an experienced VDC/BIM Manager for one of our clients - a dynamic firm known for delivering high-quality projects using cutting-edge BIM technology.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a VDC/BIM Manager with a versatile background in contractors, general contractors (GCs), or engineering firms. In this strategic role, you will lead BIM initiatives, oversee VDC coordination, and ensure seamless project integration from concept to completion. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving efficiency, accuracy, and innovation across a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage VDC/BIM strategies across multiple projects, ensuring efficient design and construction workflows.
- Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to optimize BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Develop and maintain 3D/4D/5D models for design validation, construction sequencing, and cost estimation.
- Conduct and lead BIM coordination meetings, facilitating communication and problem-solving across teams.
- Establish and enforce BIM standards, guidelines, and best practices to maintain consistency and quality.
- Integrate VDC/BIM solutions with project management and construction software tools.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in VDC/BIM management, preferably within contractors, GCs, or engineering firms.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM/VDC software.
- Strong knowledge of construction workflows, design coordination, and clash detection.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
