Job Title: Valuation Managing Director

Company Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious client, a leading firm specializing in valuation services. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Valuation Managing Director to lead their Toronto office to work directly with the existing Partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the valuation team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and maintain a robust book of business by sourcing and securing new clients.
- Provide expert valuation services for a variety of purposes, including mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, and litigation support.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed valuation reports and presentations.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to provide cutting-edge advice to clients.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Requirements:
- CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation.
- CBV (Chartered Business Valuator) designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in valuation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to generate a book of business and source new clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of valuation methodologies and financial modeling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
