Seeking a Transportation Engineering Section Head to lead a growing team of traffic and roadway engineers in the DC office.
Responsibilities:
-Serve as a technical leader and manager overseeing and ensuring success for a variety of transportation projects and services to clients
-Serve as principal in business development activities, including identifying and tracking target markets, developing and implementing strategies for pursuits, proposal development, and fostering relationships and new opportunities
-Lead and manage the transportation engineering section including for project studies, design, and analysis services to clients.
-Coordinate strategic growth plan with office managers and practice leaders
Qualifications:
-Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in transportation engineering.
-Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from ABET accredited engineering program
-PE in DC
-Experience working with the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), preferably, or other nearby agencies.
