Job Title: Transmission Project Manager
Job Description: As a Transmission Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the planning, design, and implementation of transmission projects. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage transmission projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing electric utility transmission projects.
- Strong knowledge of transmission systems, industry standards, and regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- PMP certification is a plus.
