We are seeking an experienced and dynamic On-Site Project Manager to oversee a high voltage transmission construction project in New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of high voltage transmission systems.
The Project Manager will be based on the project site to provide oversight and management of a large scale 345kV overhead transmission project. The PM will report directly to the Senior Project Manager and needs to be a very strong communicator and well versed in project management software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the high voltage transmission construction project from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in high voltage transmission construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
- Ability to work on-site in New Mexico for the duration of the project.
