Job Title: Transmission Line Engineer - Cleveland / Maumee / Oak Brook
Summary:
My client is a trusted engineering firm known for supporting clients' projects from initial concept to start-up. With over a decade of successful experience, my client specializes in complex projects in various industries including refining, petroleum, midstream, and chemical. This engineering firm is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer who will manage and execute design for transmission line engineering projects. This role is based on a hybrid work schedule to one of the client's Midwest offices (Cleveland, OH; Maumee, OH; Oak Brook, IL - transmission line engineers with the ability to work remotely in Ohio or Illinois are encouraged to apply as well).
Responsibilities:
- Produce transmission line design documents: route alignments, sag and stringing charts, loading diagrams, and foundation plans.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to address technical issues.
- Train and guide junior engineers in PLS-CADD and transmission line design principles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- PE license (preferred)
- Expertise in structural analysis and design of transmission lines and substation structures up to 345kV.
- Advanced skills with PLS-CADD and related modules (TOWER, PLS-POLE, SAGSEC, CAISSON, SAPS).
