We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage/Technology Systems Project Manager for our New York based client to oversee and manage low voltage projects from initiation to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget, while ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage low voltage projects including structured cabling, security systems, audiovisual, and access control.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and compliance with safety standards.
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
Manage procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery.
Resolve project issues and implement corrective actions.
Oversee project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and close-out packages.
Ensure adherence to local codes, regulations, and company standards.
Lead project meetings and provide updates to management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing low voltage projects.
Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, including structured cabling, security, AV, and access control.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and CAD software (preferred).
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
PMP or RCDD certification is a plus.
