Job Description: The ideal candidate will assist in conducting land surveys, preparing survey reports, and ensuring the accuracy and precision of survey data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret survey data to create detailed maps and reports.
- Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and other team members to ensure project accuracy.
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment and tools.
- Assist in the preparation of survey drawings, plats, and legal descriptions.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience as a Survey Technician or in a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and other surveying software is an advantage.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid California driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
