Summary:
A local disable veteran owned firm is seeking to relocate some of their team members to the Sacramento area after securing a Survey Manager (PLS) to lead this new office.
Firm Details:
- They pride themselves on combining time-tested surveying practices and state-of-the-art technology.
- Have about 20 employees including 2 PLS and 3 LSIT all on track for licensure on staff.
- Really care about the firm culture and have all employees take the DISC personality test to better understand how to communicate and support each other.
- Create professional development plans with all employees and check in every 90 days to get feedback and help staff stay on track to meet their career goals.
Role Responsibilities:
- Offers training opportunities to ensure staff stays current with industry and company standards.
- Drafts proposals for projects and handles subsequent project management duties.
- Attends industry-body events to build relationships and explore business opportunities.
- Produces accurate, complete, and value-added work products and performs complex survey calculations.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- 10+ years of land surveying experience
- 2+ years of project management experience
- Team management experience
- Proficient with Trimble Business Center
Salary Range: $135,000-$165,000 based on location and qualifications
