I have a well-known and highly prioritized client that is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to join their dynamic project team near Plymouth, MN. As a Survey Crew Chief, you will lead and oversee various survey field projects, including existing conditions, topographic, ALTA, as-built surveys, hydrographic surveys, drone LiDAR, and construction layout. In addition to surveying tasks, you will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
Key Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief or similar role
- Proven ability to mentor and guide survey field technicians
- Solid knowledge of surveying principles and the ability to apply sound judgement in the field
- Proficient in reading and interpreting survey data, maps, and plan sets, as well as computing field points and adjustments
- Willingness to travel within the United States to support project requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in operating Trimble survey equipment (R12I, TSC7, S7 Robotic Total Stations, X7 Scanner, Dini)
- Experience assisting Professional Land Surveyors
- AutoCAD drafting experience
- LSIT certification
- Experience with drone surveying and UAS drone operation
