Survey Crew Chief - Indianapolis, IN
Are you an experienced Survey Crew Chief ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for a highly skilled individual to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering top-quality surveys for a variety of exciting projects across the region.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Measuring, inspecting, updating, and documenting various types of surveys using advanced surveying instruments.
- Creating topographical maps and boundary surveys to support construction layouts for roads, bridges, development sites, buildings, and more.
- Conducting surveys for the maintenance, location, and relocation of section corners using GPS equipment and/or traditional surveying tools.
- Defining property boundaries and establishing rights-of-way for county roads.
- Resolving title discrepancies through accurate survey work.
- Performing field calculations as needed, including adjusting level loops and calculating GPS coordinates for navigation.
