The client:
Our client is an "employee first" engineering firm that takes pride in being smaller to mid-sized and serving to various communities across the Northeast who benefit from both traditional power delivery & renewable energy sources. Having been around for several decades, our expertise and relationships in the utility sector run deep - having started as a transmission firm our team today offers services including solar, wind, battery energy storage engineering & construction services as well as transmission, interconnection, substation and distribution services across the Greater New England and Northeast.
*Compensation is based on years of experience as this role is advertised as 5 to 15 years.
The opening:
The senior leadership team has an exciting opening for an experienced Structural Engineer (willing to bring on mid to senior/lead level) who would be interested in working on renewable energy projects for our developer clients in addition to substation & and transmission structures.

Requirements:
- 5-15 years of engineering experience working in a structural engineering role for an engineering firm, utility, design firm, consultancy, developer/IPP, EPC, etc.
- Industry experience on the buildings, industrial, power or renewables side previously.
- Experience in steel & concrete prefered, wood a plus
- AutoCAD, Excel, Mathcad, RISA suite (or other finite element software), and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Four year engineering degree.
- EIT or PE License is a huge advantage/plus.
