They are now looking for an experience structural engineer to join their team and be based in any of their offices across the Carolinas.

Responsibilities:
- Manage structural projects, including designing building systems in hot-rolled steel, cold-formed steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
- Oversee projects from inception to completion, including preparing construction specifications and administration, calculations, detailed designs, models, and drawings.
- Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with engineering plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Prepare cost opinions and written reports.
- Assist in proposal generation and fee estimates.
- Collaborate with other departments.
- Establish and maintain client relationships.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 6+ years of experience in Structural Engineering across various project sizes and types.
- PE Licensed in NC or SC
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT software for Building Structural Engineering.
- Experience with materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, and timber design.
- Familiarity with building codes, including ASCE-7.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to drive, visit job sites, navigate rough terrain, climb ladders, and enter crawlspaces as needed.
