Role Overview
The company is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with over 10 years of forensic experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of structural failures, along with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field investigations to assess structural integrity and identify issues.
- Perform structural analysis and design for new buildings, historical restorations, and renovations of existing buildings.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and construction professionals to develop innovative and efficient structural solutions.
- Produce structural engineering designs and modifications by identifying project objectives and issues, researching and developing structural engineering techniques and approaches, and verifying and validating design and construction.
- Provide forensic investigations and litigation support, including expert witness services.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure best practices are followed.
Key Requirements
- 10 years of industry experience in structural engineering.
- S.E licensure or the ability to obtain within 12 months
- Master's degree in Civil, Structural engineering other related degrees will be considered
- Extensive experience with a variety of materials and building types.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
