Role Overview
- The company is seeking a senior Structural Engineer with 15 years' of experience who is capable of working with steel, concrete, precast concrete and wood structural systems in new construction and existing structures.
- The company services clients in a whole host of market sectors and are looking for a determined Engineer who is interested in growing the department and working on a variety of exciting projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Licensed senior structural engineer with over 12 years of experience
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Capable of independently performing structural calculations with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in working with steel, concrete, precast concrete, and wood structural systems
- Experienced in both new construction and evaluating existing structures
- In-depth understanding of structural system/component costs, enabling accurate project budgeting and assessment of proposed systems
- Thorough knowledge of building codes related to live, snow, wind, and seismic loads
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently
- Strong expertise in building structural systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
