Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer who specializes in data center projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and analysis for data centers, with a deep understanding of the unique requirements and challenges associated with these facilities. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions, managing project timelines and budgets, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyze structural systems for data center projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports for data center facilities.
Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop integrated design solutions for data centers.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure projects are built according to design specifications.
Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project completion.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development activities.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data center design and construction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on data center projects.
Proficiency in structural engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS).
Strong technical knowledge of structural design and analysis principles specific to data centers.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
