Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to support our expanding project portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and technically challenging projects while engaging with long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Structural design utilizing concrete, steel, wood, and masonry
- Design of buildings and complex infrastructure such as hydraulic structures, water tanks, and treatment facilities
- Lateral wind and seismic analysis of new and existing structures
- Reviewing technical reports and selecting appropriate foundation systems
- Designing retaining walls and other structural components
- Managing client communications, project engineering, and project management, including estimating design fees
- Preparing construction cost estimates and overseeing project budgets
- Conducting quality control reviews and checking design calculations
- Mentoring junior engineers and overseeing their technical development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; S.E. designation preferred or willingness to obtain
- 15+ years of structural engineering experience
- Strong understanding of IBC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE 7 codes
- Proficiency in AutoCad and Revit (preferred)
- Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA, Enercalc, Bluebeam, and RAM (preferred)
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
