The position involves guaranteeing the financial and technical achievements of projects while upholding the highest standards of ethics and safety, in addition to complying with company regulations. The individual will engage in the engineering design stages of Wind and PV Plants, focusing on optimized designs and technical effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance policies, frameworks, and procedures pertaining to engineering design.
- Collaborate with Business Development and M&A teams to identify self-development opportunities.
- Supervise the progression of engineering designs at different phases, ensuring adherence to company technical standards.
- Manage project scheduling and monitoring to guarantee timely completion within budget. Ensure comprehensive coordination with the PMO team.
- Provide expert technical support during tender processes (RFPs) and throughout the construction phase.
- Coordinate essential studies for integration into engineering projects.
- Build relationships with suppliers and oversee the bid/award process for services.
- Ensure the application of standardized practices in projects while adapting them to local regulations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of working experience in design projects for either: solar, wind, substations, or high voltage lines
- Proficient in English and Japanese communication
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge and experience in substation commissioning and test, energy modelling and standard electrical calculations, GIS/BIM
- Strong communication, project management, problem-solving and teamwork skills
