We have a current opportunity for a SITE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGER - Landscape Architect - COLUMBUS, OH on a permanent basis!!
My Client is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead and oversee Site Development projects. This role involves guiding project teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for innovative environmental and urban design.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor team members, providing direction on project tasks, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
Review and manage associate performance, offering guidance and professional development opportunities.
Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including scheduling, budgeting, coordination of team and subconsultant activities, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.
Monitor project budgets and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain financial objectives.
Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring transparency on project status and expectations.
Facilitate clear and effective communication among team members, clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
Prepare and present project plans, updates, and recommendations to clients, public forums, and regulatory bodies.
Develop project proposals, contracts, budgets, deliverables, and scope based on client needs and project goals.
Identify funding opportunities to support project initiatives.
Assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Foster a positive work environment and promote professional growth for team members.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
Identify new business opportunities, potential projects, and emerging client needs.
Represent the organization at networking events, trade shows, and technical conferences to enhance business development efforts.
Ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., PE, AICP, or other relevant credentials) preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in landscape architecture, urban planning, or related fields.
At least 4 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
Proficiency in industry-standard software, including MS Office and computer-aided design tools.
Strong analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills in a collaborative team setting.
Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
