We are seeking a full-time Civil Professional Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in site development, stormwater management, and utility design, with a strong ability to collaborate on multidisciplinary projects. This role involves preparing detailed project documentation, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates, while coordinating data collection and analysis for project development. The successful candidate will evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to project assignments while formulating and solving complex design challenges.
Key responsibilities include managing multiple projects efficiently to meet budget and timeline goals, preparing project scopes, tasks, budgets, and schedules, and collaborating with contractors and team members. Additional duties involve attending project meetings, presenting technical aspects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This is an in-office position, and the selected candidate will be expected to work full-time from our Orlando office.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and oversee civil site development, grading, drainage, and utility projects.
Conduct stormwater management and permitting, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for water resources projects.
Develop and review construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams for seamless project execution.
Analyze and apply engineering calculations for design, analysis, testing, and implementation of civil and water resources systems.
Prepare reports, technical memoranda, and regulatory permit applications.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
5-7 years of experience in civil site design and water resources engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Strong experience in stormwater management and permitting.
Expertise in grading, drainage, and utility design.
Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.
Ability to interpret and analyze engineering plans and specifications.
Experience preparing construction documents and technical reports.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities.
